During this corona virus crisis, we will be reaching out to homeowners that are in compliance and offering our assistance in maintaining your property values. We will be selecting homes that need pressure washing to bring them in compliance with the community wide standards. Everyone should continue promoting everyday disease prevention strategies: If you are sick, stay home from work or school. Avoid close contact with those who are already sick. Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing with a tissue or the crook of your arm. Wash your hands often with soap and water. Avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth.s Simple but effective. Financial Records Update
We still haven’t heard from the former board as far as turning over the original financial records. But the good news is that we finally just received today the photo copies of all credits and debits from our bank dating back to 2016. We will take these copies and apply them to our incomplete records and start collections on all delinquent accounts. As stated last year our attorney will be Ryan McCabe of McCabe Trotter&Beverly,PC. Our goal is to have all residents in compliance with paying their dues. We will accomplish this goal with the help of Ryan McCabe. thanks

Update on the installation of more lights in the Community
We will be meeting with the city of columbia Tuesday at 10 am to see if we are able to get a few more lights installed in the neighborhood. By thier calculations 1 light per 5 houses and we have 139 houses in the neighborhood with 25 lights. So by their calculations we are at the max. But if they dont have to tear up the roads to install more lights they will see if they can get approval to install atleast 4 more lights. Will udate after Tuesday’s Meeting. thanks

city street sweeper
Went down to the city to follow up on the installation of more lights in Deerlake. Stopped by to talk with the street division and asked if we could get put back on the sweeper list. Showed them pictures of how the streets are clear and before I got back to the community they were out here. Thank you city of columbia for your support..
Annual Meeting Power Point Presentation Held (Feb 29,2020) for 2019

Just uploaded the Power Point Presentation that was presented to the members on February 29,2020. 21 motions were presented to the community and 18 were passed unanimously. We will be sending out a written ballot for the community to vote on the remainder of the motions. Take some time out and find out what’s going on in your community. Whether you want to or not, there are decisions that will be made on your behalf that will and have had an immediate effect of your quality of life in Deerlake. You have the right to know what’s going on in your community. We the board have put in a lot of time to make this possible for our residents.(When we know,you will know) Once you have taken the time to look at the presentation, take some time out and check out the rest of the site.
